CALM Charity Football Match
FAIRFORD Town FC hosted a fundraising charity match for the charity CALM (Swindon) on Wednesday 20th April.
Swindon Academy coach Andy Kuchta organised the match following U16 goalkeeper Declan Lehmann's battle against cancer. Declan, who recently had the all clear following chemotherapy, was in attendance to help raise awareness for the charity.
CALM (Swindon) have been providing exceptional support to the Lehmann family and each player made a donation whilst there was also a collection and cake sale courtesy of Fairford Italian restaurant Colosseo.
Thanks to Andy Kuchta and all those who helped organise the evening - and best wishes to the Lehmann family.
The match, officiated by Dan Cobbett who also donated his match fee to the charity, ended in a 2-2 draw.
